MaréMotrice is a non-profit organization. It helps artists, athletes, and sailors to think -and act- outside the box.

The organization operates a unique sailboat called the Knut, the first electric and solar-powered expedition sailboat. This sailboat emits almost no CO2.

Since 2015, around a hundred people have been able to experience this mode of exploration, while thousands more have enjoyed it through the many productions resulting from these extraordinary voyages: films, books, articles, exhibitions, performances, and more.

At a time when the climate is rather gloomy, MaréMotrice puts stars in people’s eyes, proving that it is possible to explore in a different way, while minimizing one’s carbon footprint.
