Depending on the weather, we’ll decide whether to sail through the Irish Sea or the Atlantic, skirting Ireland to the west. Stops at anchorages and in ports. This trip is as interesting for the technical challenges of the sailing as it is for the beauty of the places we’ll visit. Between 650 and 800 miles, depending on the route. Skipper + 4 crew members. / Price: 2’200 CHF + 350 CHF board cash for food and harbor fees.
June 16 – July 1 / 2027 Two weeks of sailing, broken up into short 2 to 4 day legs, heading North. The stops will depend on the weather, but the list includes: the Hebrides, the Faroe Islands, the Vestmann Islands… names that really spark the imagination! Approximately 800 miles in total. Skipper + 4 crew members. / Price: 2,200 CHF + 350 CHF board cash for food and harbor fees.
August 22 September 15 / 2027 Exploratory voyage along the east coast of Greenland, north of Scoresbysund, departing from Isafjordur (Iceland). Currently being planned. Extensive sailing experience required. Please contact us if you are interested.

MaréMotrice organizes long-distance and/or polar sailing courses. The crew is composed of the skipper and four to five crew members. These courses are dedicated to people who have at least a basic knowledge of navigation. They allow you to become familiar with offshore and/or ice navigation. On a boat made for that.
These courses are also a laboratory of navigation without diesel. The Knut is equipped with an electric engine, and all the energy used by this engine is made on board, in a 100% renewable way. This is how we should be sailing tomorrow, so why not start right now?
